Down Town Cafe

Situated in the heart of Srinagar old town (Downtown), this restaurant serves one of the tastiest authentic wazwan and that too at extremely nominal rates. The fluffiest and the most sumptuous meat balls (Rista and Goshtaba). The Kashmiri Kehwa and the salt tea (noon chai) are delicious.

Had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant, trying their Wazwan Thali. The food was delicious and full of authentic flavors. The ambience and seating arrangements were really impressive, creating a comfortable and welcoming vibe. Service was prompt and courteous, and the rates were quite reasonable for the quality offered. Overall, a great experience — definitely worth a visit!

Downtown Cafe is one of my favorite spots in the area! The butter chicken is absolutely my favorite — rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The rest of the menu is also impressive, with great taste and quality. The service is friendly and efficient, and the staff is always ready to help. I mostly prefer visiting this place with my family bcos of their services and privacy facility. Good for families. Separate dinning sit out for all. Food is good these days but honestly speaking I enjoyed the quality in my first 2 visits only after that I think the quality of the food was compromised. Need to do some improvements in food quality and taste!! Rest this is the best place for families. All the best guys Rise n Shine
